When we’re not working hard designing awesome themes, having ping-pong battles, foosball wars, or planning world domination, we like to spend time and look into the crystal ball. This next generation BlackBerry concept is the fruit of some of that labor.
This sleek concept redefines the traditional Blackberry experience; sporting an all-touch, no fuss, predictive user interaction experience while enhancing the BlackBerry form factor you love.
We’ve gotten rid of the side buttons and that legacy audio jack, opting for an embedded touch design and Bluetooth wireless connectivity instead. This allowed us to reduce the width of the device in half, giving us a sleeker look while keeping the familiarity of Blackberry devices. The front facing camera lens lets you take Facebook pictures of yourself…no more standing in front of the mirror, that’s so MySpace. It allows for video chat too.
Most notable is the new all-touch design with Predictive OS capabilities. We’ve redesigned the way you interact with the device making every application, menu and tool context-sensitive. That means having all the information at your fingertips while keeping the UI clutter free, widget friendly, and completely customizable. We’ve also made it more social. Integrating the ability to add social network streams to your contacts while also making it very easy to manage your own.
Predictive OS offers convenience, enhanced productivity and a better mobile experience. Here’s a sneak peek. What do you think?

nice, i like the form-factor very sleek and simple yet stylish functional. What about having an hdmi output. And a xenon flash with the new liquid lens camera technology. built in stylus wouldn’t hurt for those who have big sausage fingers.
We’ll release another (more futuristic) design we’ve had for a while in a few days. Looks a lil less than a BB but def an eye catcher.
Looks great, I’d support an OS as seemingly easy to use as this one. I love the device concept. Must have an amazing battery to be based purely on blue tooth connectivity.
I just love how thin it is. This is all I’m asking for…a nice, thin device lol.
Bluetooth connectivity was to replace the 3.5mm audio jack, not as a power supply. For power, the device would utilize an embedded receiver module to convert power over the air… it’s coming sooner than you’d think
Holy crap i want that now!!! I hoe RIM pay you handsomely for the intellectual rights for the above design because i would easily pay good money for that device!!!
If the above concept ws HTC HD2 sized then i would donate limbs for scientific research just to have one!

This concept looks very nice, sleek, and user friendly. The only comment regarding Bluetooth headset connectivity is for us travelers on the plane who restrict the use of bt headsets. But if this were to come out sooner with all the technology for business and commercial would be a “HUGE” hit for RIMM if they are watching….;-)
Now the carrier to support this is another matter hint Verizon

Love the intuitive OS concept – but touchscreens in real life for real people with sweaty palms and fatty cheeks and big fingers simply don’t work…try an i Phone in 40 degree heat against your cheek while holding a screwdrivver in the other trying to find a number or read an e-mail…that’s precisely why I like the BB keyboard and (in my case) also a trackball…
Ya, I agree, touch screens aren’t for everyone but I happen to believe that it will change…soon.

I love the look, anything BlackBerry…im on it, but will RIM go for it…? BlackBerry definetly needs to shake up their “phone game” because if not, they are going to lose their customers to android and apple phones/operating systems. Where is this 6.0?

This would be a sure fire iPhone killer. I love my Blackberry Bold soooo much – it runs my life. Though I would like them to maybe make a series that concentrates on the esthetic as well as the functionality. Like the Nokia 73** series.

I need to get a new phone and currently have the 9530 storm and was going to get the 9550 storm but would really rather have this concept one, can anyone please tel me if this concept is for real or just a tease……???
